Obituary: Dr. Kurt F. Büchel (1933-2016)

It was with great sadness that we learnt of the passing on 14th March 2016 of Dr. Kurt F. Büchel at the age of 82.
Kurt F. Büchel had a long and distinguished career as a patent attorney.
He served as Board Member of the epi from 1987 until 1989, as a Deputy Treasurer from 1987 until 1991 and as Treasurer of the epi from 1991 until 1995. He made an important and valuable contribution to the Institute.
Kurt F. Büchel was known for his integrity and dedicated professionalism. He will also be remembered as a warm and generous man.
He will be sadly missed by all his family, friends and colleagues, to whom we extend our deepest sympathy.
