The European Inventor Award will take place on 17 June 2021 at 19:00 CEST. For the first time in the history of the event, the ceremony will be entirely digital and will be broadcasted live around the globe.
This Award, organised every year by the European Patent Office, and supported by epi, has become one of Europe’s foremost innovation prizes and a celebration of the inventors who are making our world safer, smarter and more sustainable. Their fantastic stories are inspiring for all of us, they imagine what does not exist, power through setbacks and turn their dreams into our reality.
The Award will recognise the achievements of fifteen finalists in five categories (Industry, Research, Non-EPO countries, SMEs, and Lifetime achievement) and the Popular Prize, as chosen by the public.
