epi’s Vice President, Ms Gabriele Leissler-Gerstl, hosted a 6-headed delegation of the PECC Tianjin of SIPO (Patent Examination Cooperation Center of the Chinese Patent Office).

A company under the name “BTK Ltd.” sends letters to professional representatives threatening to file an opposition against a client’s patent unless a certain amount of money is transferred to the indicated bank account. Please be careful in this respect and feel free to inform us if you receive any similar correspondence

The epi members from Belgium have voted whether they shall switch from a non-unitary to unitary method of voting when electing its members of the epi Council.
