Your path to success in the EQE Paper F

To support candidates in preparing for the EQE Paper F, the epi has developed a dedicated training programme tailored to the exam’s structure and content. This training is designed specifically for EQE candidates.


Practice Makes Perfect – Three Example Papers

To help you prepare effectively, epi has created three example papers that reflect the format and content of the actual Paper F:

  • Example Paper 1 is available free of charge to all EQE candidates.
  • Example Papers 2 and 3 are available together with a live online feedback session on 07 January 2026 and 04 February 2026, offering valuable insights and guidance from experienced tutors. Both meetings will take place on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. CET. 

Access to Papers 2 and 3, including the feedback session, is offered for a participation fee.


What is Paper F?

Paper F assesses whether candidates can apply legal concepts and provisions of the EPC and the PCT. It focuses on declarative knowledge—understanding and recalling legal rules and procedures.

Exam Structure (4 hours total)

    • Part 1 (2 hours): Procedural requirements and steps in EPC & PCT proceedings
    • Part 2 (2 hours): Interpreting claims and assessing compliance with the EPC, including proposed amendments
