The epi is pleased to announce the third edition of the European Patent Administration Certification (EPAC) examination preparation course, designed to help candidates prepare efficiently and cost-effectively for the EPAC exam.

Target Audience:

  • Paralegals
  • Formalities Officers
  • Patent Administrators

Participants should be actively preparing for the EPAC exam and possess at least an intermediate level of understanding of the exam format and tested topics.

Course Structure:

The syllabus is divided into five modules, covered over five consecutive weeks starting in September and concluding just before the exam in October:

  1. PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty)
  2. Common Provisions, Fees, and Remedies
  3. Filing  
  4. Search, Examination, and Grant
  5. Opposition and Appeal

Weekly Schedule:

  • Open Questions: Sent at the beginning of each week.
  • Live Sessions (see above): 2-hour online sessions with epi tutors to discuss the week’s open questions and analysis methodology.
  • Multiple-Choice Questions: Sent after each live session to reinforce the week's topics.

Study Commitment:

Participants should expect to dedicate approximately 1 hour of study per day.

Additional Support:

Tutors will be available for Q&A forum sessions for each module until the day before the exam.
