Election to Council 2020

Election to Council 2020

Members of the Institute have been nominated for election to the epi Council. Being a Council member means formally representing and championing the interests of the members of their constituency. The epi Council members actively shape the work and services of the Institute, elect the Board of epi, and are also eligible to become one of its members. Furthermore, the Council leads the epi task forces that address issues relevant to the Profession and their own constituency. The responsibilities of a Council member are described in the By-Laws, and include attending the Council meetings, one in Spring and one in Autumn.

A list of the candidates for each constituency can be found on the epi website, after logging in with your personal account information. In the right hand bar, please click on the entry "Elections". In the following window, click on "Election to Council 2020" and then on "List of candidates". The list of candidates can also be accessed when voting.

The election is by remote e-voting. On 15 January 2020 letters have been sent to all epi Members, containing a personal password from our independent voting service provider, Civica Election Services, allowing you to vote via the election website  www.cesvotes.com/epi2020

Should you not have received such a letter, or if you experience any difficulties with the voting process, please contact Civica by telephone: +44 20 8889 9203 (Weekdays 9am-5pm) or email: support@cesvotes.com

The ballot is open 24 hours a day and closes at 23:59 GMT on 17 February 2020. You must vote by that time for your vote to be included.

Please take the time to vote and to express your support for the Council member of your choice.

The first meeting of the newly elected Council will take place in Glasgow on 11-12 May 2020.
