Register now for A fresh look at procedural aspects of appeal proceedings hybrid event on 11 October 2022 in Munich. We are pleased to offer this hybrid event which gives an intensive and practical overview of the law, the jurisprudence, and their relevance to you in proceedings before the Boards of Appeal of the European Patent Office, focussing also on the new Rules of Procedure of the Boards of Appeal, which entered into force on 1 January 2020, and their significance for opposition and appeal proceedings.

The speakers will guide you through various aspects of the proceedings, including a discussion of the landmark decisions of the Boards of Appeal and the Enlarged Board of Appeal, which every patent attorney should have in mind at the outset of, and during appeal proceedings. Important tactical and strategic considerations, such as how to draft written submissions in appeal and how to act during oral proceedings before the Boards of Appeal, will also be addressed.
