Winners of the European Inventor Award 2018
June 14, 2018
The European Inventor Award honours inventors whose inventions are protected by a European patent and commercially exploited. The finalists and winners are selected by an independent jury consisting of international authorities from the fields of business, politics, science, academia and research, this year including the President of epi.
In a previous news item, we had invited our members to join the public in selecting one of the awards: the winner of the Popular Prize was chosen from among the finalists by online voting on the EPO website.
The winners were announced during last week’s European Inventor Award 2018 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye near Paris, France. Coming from seven countries (France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Russia and the US), the names of the winners for each category (Industry, Research, Non-EPO Countries, SMEs, Lifetime Achievement) and for the Popular Prize are available here{target=_blank} .
