Correction to the By-Laws published on 01.02.21

The epi Council approved the recruitment of an Executive Director at the Council meeting C86 and approved the amendments to the corresponding epi regulations at the Council meeting C87 including a transitional provision which conferred to the Presidium the competence to determine the date of entry into force of the new provisions.

The Presidium at its meeting 2021-02 decided that the new provisions as approved by Council at C87 shall enter into force on the 1st February 2021. The version of the By-Laws amended according to the new provisions was published on the 1st February 2021 on the epi website as an independent document and as part of the epi Collection of Decisions.

The preparatory work for the upcoming Council meeting C90 has revealed an error in the German and the French translation of the amended version of the first paragraph of Article 15 of the By-Laws. Despite all due care during the publication process, the German and French translation of the first paragraph of Article 15 of the By-Laws were not amended.
Therefore, the English version was the only one which was in line with the amendment approved by Council at C87.
