epi’s Vice President, Ms Gabriele Leissler-Gerstl, hosted a 6-headed delegation of the PECC Tianjin of SIPO (Patent Examination Cooperation Center of the Chinese Patent Office).
We have been kindly notified by some of our members about a fraudulent practice. A company under the name “BTK Ltd.” sends letters to professional representatives threatening to file an opposition against a client’s patent unless a certain amount of money is transferred to the indicated bank account. Please be careful in this respect and feel free to inform us if you receive any similar correspondence
