The EPO issued a notice on 29 July, essentially postponing all oral proceedings in opposition scheduled until 31 December 2020 unless held by videoconference.
On the same day, the Boards of Appeal also issued a notice containing important measures that are different from those decided by the EPO.

On 15 July 2020, the Enlarged Board of Appeal held oral proceedings in case G1/19, relating to the patentability of computer-implemented methods involving simulations.

Initially scheduled to take place in Glasgow on 11th and 12th May 2020, epi C88 Council meeting was eventually held on 29th June 2020 by video conference.
