The letters to members with the information for remote e-voting have been posted by the independent voting service provider Civica on 15th January 2020. The ballot is open 24 hours a day and closes at 23:59 GMT on 17th February 2020. You must vote by that time for your vote to be included.


JUVE Patent Publishes Article on epi Position

The epi is of the opinion that the current prohibition of professional partnership of German attorneys-at-law and patent attorneys with European Patent Attorneys is unnecessarily restrictive, out-of-date and not in compliance with the law. It contradicts the need for interdisciplinary services felt by both clients and members of the professions involved. The article by JUVE Patent provides a useful summary of the problem illustrated with examples from actual practice experienced by epi members.

IP Conference(s) in Cambodia, 28 and 30 January 2020

The EPO announces a Conference on Intellectual Property (The validation on demand of European patents) co-organised by the Cambodian Ministry of Industry and Handicraft and the European Patent Office with the support of EuroCham Cambodia, to be held in Phnom Penh on 28 January 2020, and in Siem Reap on 30 January 2020.
