Life of a patent seminar - register now for Lisbon

Do you like to refresh your EPC knowledge and skills or are you new in the profession? Then start the new year with a 2-day seminar on "Life of a patent" from 23-24 January 2020 in Lisbon. The succesful seminar series on "Life of a patent" is generally composed in four parts. We are starting with the first two parts "Pre-drafting" and "Drafting".


Pre-examination 2021 - Compulsory registration

Candidates who have already been admitted to the EQE (pre- or main examination) are already registered and therefore do not need to register again even if they have not yet sat an examination paper.

Enrolment to the pre-examination 2021 will only be possible for candidates who have registered by 15 January 2020 at the latest.

CJEU Decides on Damages under the IPR Enforcement Directive

The final decision of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) in case C-688/17 was issued on 12 September 2019. The epi Litigation Committee has been following this referral from the Hungarian court with interest as it relates to the interpretation of compensation for defendants under Art 9(7) of the IPR Enforcement Directive (2004/48/EC).
