EPO consultation on UDEC

epi was represented by Mr. Mercer, Ms. Vogelsang-Wenke, Ms. Honkasalo and Mr. Jorristma in the Consultation event on User Driven Early Certainty (UDEC), organised by the EPO in the Hague on 9.2.2018.
The EPO first presented the current proposal for a possibility to postpone the start of the substantive examination by three years, called UDEC. Different issues relating to the proposal, especially those of third parties, were discussed during the three hour meeting.
