Three presentations from the latest SACEPO meeting are now available for our members (after login) in the Documents/Member section of the epi website. They cover recent developments at the EPO, in particular the so-called « Early Certainty ».

The epi members from Belgium have voted whether they shall switch from a non-unitary to unitary method of voting when electing its members of the epi Council.

At the beginning of 2017, the Council of the European Patent Institute is due to be elected for its new term. The mailing of the nomination form will sent out by 1st October 2016. We hereby provide you with a detailed overview of all the relevant deadlines for submission and receipt of the nomination documents.

**epi’**s President, Mr Tony Tangena, hosted a 8-headed delegation of the Taiwanese Patent Attorneys Association (TWPAA) representing about 300 members, amongst them Ms Hsiu-Ru Chien (Chair of the Committee of International Affairs of TWPAA), Mr Ted Su (Vice Chair of the Committee of International Affairs of TWPAA), Ms Yvonne Y.F. Lin (Vice Chair of the Committee of International Affairs of TWPAA), and further TWPAA members.
